As an organization, all programs undertaken by SEARCH are backed by robust research into available data, policies and frameworks to establish strategies to counter the most pressing problems in the community. Our focus has been to take a multidisciplinary approach to execute quality work on reforming the system by bringing multiples voices to the table.

Following this strategy, Thar Education Alliance became the leading social media campaign in Sindh which succeeded in raising the people’s voices for quality education using multiple platforms. The campaign #TharNeedsUniversity was another achievement of leveraging the spirit of
volunteerism to demand better education.

Moreover, reflections from the Thar Science Festival as well as the Laar Science Festival show that SEARCH’s STEAM based education program remains one of the top influential programs to popularize maths and science education in Sindh.

Following the philosophy behind “Raise the Voice”, the title of Annual Report 2020, we at SEARCH are dedicated to working tirelessly to utilize our limited resources and bring positive change in our communities. Our greatest strength are our volunteers who are committed to development and
promotion of education in remote areas of Sindh.
