SEARCH is proud to manage the Rano Meghwar School in Islamkot, Tharparkar, a vital initiative ensuring that children in remote desert villages are not left behind in their right to education. This model school reflects our mission to deliver inclusive, equitable, and quality learning opportunities for vulnerable children in underserved communities.

Despite its modest scale, the Rano Meghwar School nurtures 60 students—40 boys and 20 girls—under the tireless commitment of one teacher with assistant support. The school provides a wide classroom and a local hut, runs on solar power, and is equipped with separate washrooms for boys and girls, safe drinking water, sufficient furniture, and a fenced boundary that ensures a secure learning environment. A playground further enriches the children’s growth by promoting recreation and holistic development.

For the community, this school stands as a symbol of pride and progress, proving that even in the most remote and underserved parts of Tharparkar, education can thrive and transform lives.
